  • 1 pack of feta (vegan feta works too)

  • 50ml of milk or water

  • 1 clove or garlic

  • 1 tsp dried chilli flakes

  • 1 tsp of paprika

  • 2 tsp of dried oregano

  • 2 tsp of toasted cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp of lemon zest

  • 1 tsp of za’arar

  • 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil

Method

Step 1: Mix feta

Add 1 pack of feta to a bowl and begin to break it up with a whisk or if you have a blender that would be easier and much less messy! To your feta add 50ml of milk or water and mix until smooth.

Step 2: Grate in garlic

Peel one garlic clove and grate it into the feta along with 1 tsp of lemon zest.

Step 3: Add spices

In a dry, cold, small pan add 2 tsp of cumin seeds and place them onto a medium heat on the stove. Once they begin to smell a slightly pop, remove them from the heat. To your feta add 1 tsp of praprika, 2 tsp of dried oregano, 1 tsp of za’arar, 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil and your toasted cumin seeds. Give it a good stir and there you have it!
